From the moment we walked in to time we left service was outstanding owner was hospitable did not charge me for a corkage fee and the food was fantastic I am a business owner and I will definitely recommend anvil to all my guests thank you for a great time tonight.

Amazing!!! Ate in the tent overlooking the mill river and enjoyed hot soup of the day and a specialty old fashioned before sandwiches arrived. Love at first bite!! The service was fantastic and super fast and the tent provided just enough warmth for the 40ndegree day. Beautiful ace, wonderful food and amazing service. Definitely worth stopping by!!!

Omg! The service is top top notch! Ambience on back patio is beautiful!! We are driving thru from Door County back home to Barrington... we've been here before but decided to bring my mom and she is so excited about this place , she's already planning her corvette's club next road trip up here! The old blacksmiths shop atmosphere inside is cool, and the outside patio on the river is gorgeous. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. Try the chicken bacon artichoke sandwich. It's pretty delicious. Have any sandwich I'm sure they're all good, on the fresh baked bread.

This place knows their food and i will keep coming back. The price is fair for what you get. Soups and sandwiches, salads and dinners are all excellent. I am trying to get thru the menu, since i moved to the area i have eaten here about once per month. Everything is great, staff is friendly, and I always leave happy!
